Attempted Break-ins
Hello Neighbors,
This letter is to inform you that on the morning of Monday, April 3rd, several neighbors reported a man trying to enter their homes between 3:30 am and 6:00 am. This person even opened one door but was scared away by the family's dogs. Later that morning he was found sleeping on another neighbor's front porch before he got up and began walking through the neighborhood and eventually exited onto HWY96 around 9:00 am.
The sheriff's department was called by several neighbors while the man was still in the neighborhood but took almost an hour to respond. When they did finally catch up with him they took him into custody pending attempted breaking and entering charges.
We wanted to make sure all of our neighbors are aware of this incident and take this opportunity to remind everyone to please make sure to lock up and look out for one another! The HOA Board’s primary goal is to do everything we can to make sure the community stays safe, if you have any concerns or suggestions please let us know.
Sincerely,
Eagles Nest Phase III HOA Board
